I’m 40 years old. Studied video art and cinematography during 4 years between 1992 and 1996 at Royal Academy of Arts in Liège (Belgium) and discover digital art 3 years ago. I like to call my art “Visual Accidents” and many people says that I’m a fractal artist... but I don’t really knows the rules of fractal.

Please tell us about your first experience creating.

My really first creation was made in traditional painting, this was a two faced person between good and evil...

What music do you like to have playing while creating art?

Usually not listen to music when I’m in creation but I like to play some songs of Anathema when I look at my work for judge it.

If you have a job besides being an artist, can you tell us about it?

Yes, I’m working as a cameraman in a local TV Station in Belgium.

What are you trying to convey to viewers through your art?

I do not want to convey a specific message. I do not like artists who claim to bring a new message to the world or an analysis of the society. My art is only a visual world that takes the viewer into his thoughts, he has to see what he wants.

Tell us about your creative process, from the beginning of a typical piece to its completion:

I usually start with a drawing I made with some program like Art Rage or Corel Painter. Then, I modify this one many, many times with a Photoshop -like program until a world appears, or a character, or a visage... Then I put some details for more feelings. After that, I do again this process until I see what I’m waiting for, or why I hope to appear.... sometimes it appears, sometimes not. That’s the game...

What things inspire you to create art?

Since it is not me who directs the work, but the work that directs my actions, I can not speak of real inspiration. Rather there are days when things appear and days when they are dead ....

Have you sold any of your artworks?

No. But some people ask me for buy some pieces...

How do you promote your art on the internet?

Essentially Facebook.

If you could live your life over again, would there be anything you would do differently?

No, I consider life in the same way I create my works. Things happen by fate and we do not change. I like my destiny.

What plans do you have for the future of your art?

I hope to know my work as much as possible. Make a lot of exhibitions in unusual places. I also have a project with a group of music, a kind of music association and digital art.

Do you have any good advice for emerging artists?

Do not hesitate, don’t be shy to show your work. Spread it!
