20 Funny Art Memes that Will Make You Laugh

We've all seen and probably shared memes online, whether on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest or the myriad of other social networks on the internet. Most often they are funny cartoons or inspirational quotes, and are meant to be shared, hence their popularity. Many have gone viral, and have been shared millions of times.

Memes are actually a very effective art promotional technique. Including n funny or inspirational quote onto one of your artwork images (and including your name as credit) has been proven to be more likely shared than just having the art alone. In fact, sometimes the quote doesn't even have to relate to the artwork at all.

I encourage you to try this out for yourself. There are many free meme creators online, where you may create a meme in minutes, including your own text and image. Then, simply download it and share it on social networks.
