Spirituality and art are intrinsically linked. True art can be viewed as a spiritual practice because it is linked to inspiration and intuition, both of which are spiritual in nature.

One of the main aspects of spirituality is that of creation. At any one moment, our thoughts create our circumstance and reality. In other words, we are creating in our minds and subconscious all the time, through what we project into this world, and how we react to it.

Art is simply a physical manifestation of that spiritual side of ourselves, and reflects such things as discernment, beauty, perseverance, patience, honesty and generosity.

In the past, we have featured several artists who have used art and spirituality hand in hand, as a reflection of their spiritual journey. Some of these are listed below, along with their spiritual paintings and artworks.

"I really enjoy experimenting with a variety of mediums, including oils, watercolor, pen & ink, collage, photography and  Photoshop. My favorite subjects are nature, mythology, travel, spirituality and gothic-oriented works. For my commissioned freelance work I illustrate for children's books, greeting card & craft companies, book and CD covers, promotional materials, etc. and have my own lines of cards & t-shirts."

"Each painting takes me on a spiritual journey. All of my senses are awakened; the canvas acts as a mirror and reflects who I am in that moment. I'm not just creating a painting, I'm creating myself. The process is raw, exhilarating, and magnificently liberating." - Sadie Jane

"I wish to bring renewal to viewers, heal their souls and re-join them to the Mother Earth, and her mysterious beauty and order, a spiritual reawakening and connection. None of us are separate. By use of colors such as: green, yellow, orange, purple and blue, swirling in and around animals, people and plants, we regain the knowledge of connection to the universe. Lines of joyous color and movement brightens our world, soothes the soul, and bonds us with nature. Linking people to the natural world, with its magic and beauty, is the aesthetic of my vision. Being drawn into innocence, a well being unfolds, with the unity of all life opening up to the viewer. Art is therapy, celebration, and a journey. Reflecting an enigmatic life with art and association with the essence of the biosphere, I know it will help create and bring about a metamorphosis of change that the world needs at this point in time."

"Each artist focuses a  spotlight  on a particular aspect of the manifest world enabling others to see thru that lens. Art, like music, brings our attention out of the thinking mind and into an intuitive and feeling mode. Some might describe this mode as the mode of the soul which is why there's so much reverence around art."

"My favorite  inspiration  is nature, but my spiritual journey has also been the subject of many of my pieces, as well as the inspiration of my inner nature."

"My main goal is that my art should not only look appealing or entertaining, but inspires and enhances life physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I want my art to be conversational pieces along with the beauty that they bring."

"My Work Philosophy: I gave  forms to intangible thoughts , thoughts which solve questions. My idea is to make the work which stimulates thinking. My painting speaks about subject, matter, knowledge and intuition and it is based on the concept of being and knowing. In these colorful paintings, I used shadows of objects at different times. Forms are simple and expressive; their movement shows the idea behind."

Within the last few years, I has had numerous solo and group  exhibitions in different  galleries  of the United States and Europe. My works are on display at galleries in Russia, Armenia, France, Syria, Poland, USA, Canada.  I peer into an inner spiritual world and express that on canvas."

"I had a “gift’ in a very early age of my life and was not able at that time to understand many things but just mystic feelings coming inside which I give in outside through the creations which I do. Amazing point is that the  “knowledge” which I was given in my dreams and meditations through the channel from my Space Teachers I started to read and learn when I grew up in the Quantum physics materials."
